Day 11 | Another Small Step Toward the Top

Hey everyone,

Yesterday was a light content day; I only posted one Short and wrote an article for my website. Results?

I have to admit, it's frustrating that YouTube’s algorithm sometimes chooses specific Shorts to promote, ignoring others that I put a lot of effort into. But that’s the game, I suppose.

Good news though — I’ll be in Barcelona on November 7-8, which means a chance to capture fresh travel content.

Now that I’m 10 days into this 1,000-day journey, I’ve officially hit the first 1%! It seems like the perfect moment for a quick reflection:

1. Planning Is Everything

Having a clear plan has been crucial. It’s important to know what you’re aiming for, why, and when. My focus for this first month has been:

  • Launching my website: Setting it up, customizing, and making it live.
  • Starting live streams: Getting comfortable with the setup takes time.

No major goals beyond these for now, and I’m steering clear of any financial expectations in this early stage.

2. Content Planning

Having a daily, weekly, and monthly content plan is a must. Some mornings, ideas just aren’t there, and that’s where a content backlog comes in handy. Keeping a reserve of ideas ensures I’m always ready to create.

3. Scheduling Time

Sticking to a schedule has been non-negotiable:

  • Content creation time
  • Posting time
  • Analytics check-in

This way, I’m organized, and I always know what needs doing.

4. Tracking and Analyzing Performance

Taking stock of the results helps me stay on course, and I plan to dive deeper into this soon to understand what’s working.

5. Testing New Hypotheses

Trying out fresh ideas and formats is essential. (More to come on this as I experiment!)

I’m optimistic that this approach will keep me on track, and I’m getting closer to launching those live streams.

This is the final showdown: Human vs AI — and we're here to win!
